Prometh with codeine syrup 475ml is the use of promethazine and codeine combination is not recommended in children younger than 6 years of age for syrup or in children younger than 12 years of age.

It contains codeine, an opioid that acts as a cough suppressant and can also produce relaxation and euphoria when consumed at a higher-than-prescribed dose. It also contains promethazine HCl, an antihistamine that acts as a sedative.
