Dimetapp c syrup s typically used for nasal congestion and to relieve a cough.  the symptomatic, temporary relief of coughing, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing and lacrimation accompanying the common cold, allergy and other upper respiratory infections. Each 5 mL of palatable, cherry-red liquid, menthol and raspberry taste and odour, contains brompheniramine maleate 2 mg, phenylephrine HCl 5 mg, guaifenesin 100 mg, and codeine phosphate 10 mg.
